Vadinia was as we can see, the city of the water, one of the nine Cantabrian towns
mentioned by Ptolomeus in his work "Geographica II", though its exact
location is still unknown.
All that is known is that the dwelling or “morada” of Vadinia was
in Vegacerneja, on the Arriondas road that leads to Cangas de Onis and the National
Park of Picos de Europe.
Open spaces, Nature and Life are the biggest exponents in La Morada. Six rooms
in which to live and breathe the Leonese mountain and to be able to contemplate
its rivers flowing from the green lands of the Mountain of Riaño.
The Habitation of Vadinia transports us to an altogether forgotten lifestyle.
